Suspended Cranes, also known as Monorail Cranes, are high-efficiency lifting solutions designed for in-plant material handling applications, operating on horizontal or vertical axes over profile beams or single girder overhead crane systems. Standard monorail cranes can be safely used as hoisting units under simple I-beams commonly found in almost every facility or on single girder travelling overhead cranes.
Thanks to their series movement capability, they provide an ideal solution in confined spaces where conventional overhead cranes cannot be installed or operated. They are especially preferred in production lines requiring angular axis changes, load transfers between different halls, and facilities equipped with recirculating conveyor systems. In such systems, the minimum turning radius of the rotating beam must be 1500 mm.
For facilities with limited ceiling height, low headroom monorail crane designs are developed. In this special design, the drum is positioned on the side of the trolley group, and system balance is optimized with an additional counterweight on the opposite side. This configuration provides maximum lifting height efficiency in low ceiling areas.
All monorail crane systems manufactured by Uzmanlar Crane are designed in compliance with FEM 2m, 3m, and 4m classes. With high engineering standards, durable body construction, and precise motion control, they ensure long service life and safe operation in industrial facilities.
